Is it the ignition cylinder?

hello all, im new here and im hoping i might be able to get some help on an issue im having. when the problem first showed, it was when i would try to start the vehicle by turning the key, i would have to giggle the key while turning it. now even that wont get it to start. before i go ahead and replace the ignition cylinder, i want to make sure im not overlooking something else that could be the culprit instead.

hi mate ..so when you turn key u get dash lights and stuff ...

yes i do. everything lights up, but no start, no turning over. battery was recently replaced

try putting in neutral if a auto ..might be nss

starter all good ....???you say you had to wiggle key before for it to start...? can you turn key so dash lights up but no go ....

starter is good. all dashlights come on

yes, have to wigle it to start, but now it wont start even doing that

must be in there then mate .....cheap to pick up from junkyard ??..
