I was looking at my suspension today and i notice above the coil spring there is a spacer about 1 5/8" thick....wondering if this stock or aftermarket????? my buddy's 1994 XJ looks lower than mine...

That is aftermarket... The sock one is the little spacer right above the big one... I even went out and looked at my 98 Sport to verify what I was thinking was correct..
That there is one of them spacer thingies! :D

That made my decision to get a 4.5" lift with SYE and Drive Shafts from Tom Woods!!!!!!!
Yup, spacer. Mine will soon be replaced by a 3" lift spring.
