Finished the rear diff, backed mort out of the garage, noticed a gas leak and this!

Is that an extra tire stud Dana?
Was jus a 4" screw, went in on a nice angle!
Took mort for a quick drive, rear diff sounds great! A little noise on light decel, but I think that has to do with the preload on the pinion, it's too high, but I'm not going to worry about that right now.

Good to see it moving under its own power again. All the bugs worked out now?
Front diff, the oil slinger looks like it's seen better days, should I remove it???

I think replace is a better option. But if it is not interfering with anything it will still sling oil

Well now, that is interesting. I haven't seen that before. Must be some Canuck thing?
I was thinking it was because they are from an abs axle.

I haven't had much experience with ABS
Um yeah that is and interesting thing. I have not seen that either. The HP 30 in mine is an ABS axle and does not have that.
Mort is all back together and driving great!
