Re: Wrangler authority a/t tires
while it's a bit of a thread res, i can vouch for the wrangler duratrax. I've got a set on my Isuzu and they are awesome on everything I've ran it on. They are more aggressive than the authority, but not as aggressive as a true MT. Noise isn't too bad, and treadwear has been really good. Also had a chance to use them in ice/snow this winter and I had no issues at all.
I think the cheapest I ended up getting them shipped was from Amazon a year and a half ago. They were 265/75R16 LR-C and i think i paid 202 shipped and got them the day after ordering. Not sure where would have the best price now.
These are soo good that when I do find my XJ, i'll probably pull these off my trooper and put them on the XJ once I find some 16" wheels.
Re: Wrangler authority a/t tires
I know this is an older thread.
But i have had these tires for a few years. The first set i put on my. 2000 blazerZR2 put 60k on them. Did great pushing snow as well. Now i am crazy about rotating and keeping the psi. When i needed new tires i got the same one's for my ZR2 sold them when the Z died. Got them back and put the on my XJ.
