cargo light
had problems with dome light so installed cargo bay light to make sure lighting was adequate. wired straight to battery with rocker switch mounted on dash(son's 92). used lens from NAPA tractor light.

sorry-I'm not the best at uploading pics.(I'm sure someone will get rid of the extra pic for me. WE had problems with the fuse to the cargo light ,so I installed the tractor light lens(NAPA) in the cargo bay. It is wired straight to the battery with a rocker switch on the dash. we used the extra slot on the dash of my son's 92.

I also had/have problems with my dome light, so I mounted lights to the outer screws for the rear headliner trim. They are mounted so that I can angle them either into the rear cargo area or outside of the rear of the vehicle or straight out the back window.

i have problems with my driver door turning on the light but it is just a bad door switch. i love the staples i will have to try that my head liner is :turd::smiley-laughing021:

I bought some norhtern tool ones for like 11 bucks they are 55 watts and light up the WHOLE inside of the XJ I mounted them on each side of the headliner trim thing as stated above but mine only shoot down towards the cargo area... which is a mobile workshop I'll have to snap a few pics of the finished product the switch is placed in the rear cargo areaso I don't have to keep going bak and forth to turn it on

i put two touch led lamps and they do a good job
