Rear Drum Brakes
I have a Dana 35 with ABS on a 1999 4WD with 4.0
Im trying to change the rear brakes so I bought new shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, and both hardware kits.
I decided to to the right rear 1st and it all came apart ok except when I went to remove the brake line from the wheel cylinder I broke the end of the line off.
I think the brakeline is the 3/16 one but Im not really sure also I have no clue how long it is. 72' 51' 20' 30' 40' seem to be my choices for length.
The line I broke is the one that goes from the RR wheel across the axle.

Re: Rear Drum Brakes
Just measure it up the best you can and get the next longest length. Make sure the fitting screws into your new wheel cylinder before you bend the line.

Re: Rear Drum Brakes
I will end up doing that lucky for me I have a wheel cylinder to take with me. Im going to measure it out with string to get a rough guess. I'll post what size it ended up being for future reference.

Re: Rear Drum Brakes
Just be careful when bending it if you don't have a bender. They will kink pretty easy.
