Crappy mileage, dying when cold still
Need thoughts. So i adjusted my throttle plate some and that helped a little with dying at stop signs and such. However i dont think that was the cause. I did the calculations and i get 11.5 miles to the gallon...and thats mainly interstate. I still die when the engine is cold at stop lights. Crank sensor, camshaft sensor, iac are all new, tps is one year old. Thoughs on air charge temp sensor causing??

Worn out O2 sensors are the biggest cause of poor milage. Also you are running 31s on 3.55 gears
Re: Crappy mileage, dying when cold still
Thanks 4.3. Jeep came with 31's. They are running on whatever the stock gear ratio is. I have not replaced o2 sensors since i got it. Must assume they are originals. So that means they have 200,000 miles on them. Would they also assist in causing the dying at cold engine? If i recall i think there are 2 sensors on the 2000.

I think on the 00 there are four. But the two upper ones are the most important and the ones that will affect fuel/air ratio. And yes, they affect all rpms
