accessory wiring mase easy
I wanted to add an easy way to wire accessories, this is what I came up with. This is the block off box to give room for the switches while blocking the vent. Attachment 14318This shows it in place, neoprene was used for a gasket behind it so no leaks.Attachment 14319 Next I made a cover plate for the switches Attachment 14320This is it with the cut outs, ready for the finishAttachment 14321OK, now it is ready to put in, I used textured vinyl to match the dashAttachment 14322Now it is in and ready to go, all wiring from now on is done under the hoodAttachment 14323I think I need to show under the hood in another post, so I will try to show it right after this one.

Re: accessory wiring mase easy
OK, this is what it looks like under the hood, two terminal blocks, one feeds the relays from batt power. One feeds the switches from the relays, so one is switched power, one is unswitched power. From there it goes to the fuse block on the right at front end of fender. the uncovered terminal is the ground. Now when I want to add something, all I do is run the positive wire to the fuse block and the ground wire to the ground block, no mess no fuss.Attachment 14324
