We've been working on the site, since the attack, restoring things. This could be the reason for the change. Wait, are you sure this wasn't you're avatar? I could have sworn you drove this up to a Houston area meet and greet once. :smiley-scared002:

Oh and we have no way of knowing what, or if, there was another avatar in use. You can always change your avatar just by going to the USER CP on the Navigation Bar. :D

Is it part of the site to also make you change your password after a year?

I was wondering the same thing, I just signed in and it said my password was 1,036days old and it needed to be changed

We were recently attacked and hacked. Password expatriation was turned on so everyone would change their password. For your account and the information in its, protection.

I figured that was the case but I made sure to change mine again from the user cp right after to be on the safe side.

Choosing an avatar is simple. Just go to UserCP > Edit Avatar. You can pick from several that we have loaded on the site, or upload your own. Again, this default avatar is meant to encourage you to change your avatar to one that better suits you.

Glad i finally saw this, i been locked out for three days. With all the hacking lately i didn't trust the password change.

Good to be home again.

I was concerned to post about it as it would give the hacker(s) warning of what was being changed. It was either just do it or e-mail everyone. There was no guarantee that the hacker wouldn't also be notified via e-mail, so I just implemented the password change.

whew.. Thought I cooked my own goose with password change. But having only been around for a few months bought it hook line and sinker. Good to know it wasn't them...
