both front hub ujoints were completely shot, had shop replace them. Now xj has vibration that starts at about 45 and gets worse the faster you go. steering wheel has tight spots when turning also (tight, loose, tight, loose).

If the steering wasn't tight before, I'd suspect the u-joints on the axles are too tight.
