Hi Fit4Duty, welcome to the xjtalk forum!

We would love to know more about you and your Jeep. How you found us, etc...

Check out "Announcements" "How to post an image" for help posting images.

Got a Wrangler? Maybe a friend with one? http://www.WranglerTalk.com/

Thanks for the Welcome...

I found the forum searching for more information on dealing with running a little warm down here in AZ. Good reading, so I thought I would join.

I now have two XJ's that I have aquired in the past 6 months. Been wanting to get one for years and finally decided to get rid of the H3 I had been wheeling for a while to get one. Loved it so much that I decided to get another one for my kids.

The 99 I bought first is now lifted on Rusty's 4.5" kit, has bushwacker fender flares, and 33" Procomp Xterrains. Along with Rusty's rock rails, engine/trans skid, t-case skid and fuel tank skid. Also, locked front and rear with the PowerTrax no-slips.

My second XJ I just started on. It's a 97. Bought it with engine problems, non specific. $900. Took the head off and swapped it for a rebuilt, installed upgraded injectors, along with new distributor cap, rotor, wires and champion plugs. She runs like a champ now.

Thanks again...

Here is a shot of the Red 99 stretching it out a little.

Here are a couple of the 97 "el cheapo". Last week I found a 96 XJ in the junk yard that had a Rusty's lift kit with 3" front coils, 3.5" rear leafs, shocks, tube lower control arms for stock wheels (got a bend in them going in so the tire dont' hit", tube upper control arms, Rusty's steering stablilizer and sway bar drop brackets. Got all of it for $300. Put it all on last night with some new 31x10.5x15 treadwright retreads.

:welcome: to xjtalk from Delaware/Maryland!! Both of those XJ's look very nice.. Now that I've gotten to see the Rusty's rock rails on a XJ.. might look into getting a set for my XJ.. I am very pleased with the Treadwright tires... especially for the price.. I just wish they still offered the 33" MT's in the 15" rim variety.. The kids are very lucky to have a nice start like the 97..
