Hey all, found this place looking up IAC cleaning info lol. I usually google search instead of using the search on a forum, especially when I feel I've exhausted what the forum has.

Anyway, just joined, have an 87 Cherokee. Actually it's my wife's right now. I kinda persuaded her to get it when she was searching for a vehicle, but now with taxes she's going to get her 4runner up and running, so I decided I'll take over the Cherokee, besides I'm the one who's done all the work anyway.

Bought it for $1500 from the original owner, not abused, just well used. Came with a bunch of manuals, and the factory service manual too :thumbsup:. Not a tired 4.0, but needs some love. Actually all I've had to do to it really is a starter, and starter relay. Pretty good rig, no complains, though I do wish I had a later model. I had a 99 Cherokee Sport a few years back, loved that thing. I'm a sucker for power everything.

Haven't done anything to it yet as it's been her vehicle for the last half year, but that'll change soon. All I've done is sand and paint the rusty bull bar that came with it, and mounted the lights. Think one of my main to dos will be to put some new injectors in, keep it running good for now. We're about to take a 2300mi trip from WA to AR when we get out of the Army soon.
