Looking to help prcjeep out so need to know if the carrier with my spider gears that was setup stock for 3.55 for my auto could be swapped to use in his 3.07 for his manual. I've only seen carriers for 3.55 and down and 3.73 and up, which leads me to believe that it could work if he just needs to swap spiders.

No, the spider gears will fit both carriers. The only difference between them is the off set where the ring gear mounts.
