I've been searching but have yet to find a write up on how to cut or trim xj fenders. Has anyone written a write up for that yet? I have seen a couple posts here and there about it but for someone new and wanting to do it themselves (me :D ) a write up would be AWESOME! If anyone has or knows where to find one please let me know. thanks for your help!

I found this from a previous post if you want to keep your stock flares.

That link takes you to the cut and fold by Grimm Jeeper. One of the best how-to-do it articles out there right now. He goes through front and back cut and fold, with all the hints you need to do it right. Now if you want to go higher than his cuts, you will want to have some welding skills and spare metal laying around to make filler panels at the rear cause with out them you will loose body integrity and that isn't a good thing on our XJ's.

just tape off the front and cut it. the back works best with relief cuts, as pictured above, then just hammer inward.
