Reservoir leaking xj rhd model 4 ltr

my washer reservoir on my rhd uk model 4.0 cherokee 1997 is leaking.pour in and it's gone in minutes out the other end somewhere..........how hard is it to access and remove and what is the likely cause and remedy of this.........any help thanks,the thing is built in the fender and only access from passenger fenderwell..

I believe the washer reservoir is in the fender well. On the LHD it's on the driver's side. Do you see the fluid draining out near a front wheel?

Leaks might be ...

The grommets, the washer pumps fit into,
A split seam in the reservoir,
Hose split or popped off the pump.



.... havent had a snorkle fitted recently have you ???? ... ;) .. :D:D


Its a PITA to get at, in a hurry ... but the removal of panels and stuff to get at it ... is pretty straightforward.

You might be able to see enough - just by getting the plastic, fender liner, pulled back out the way.
