Has anyone gotten these yet?

I have been having problems getting mine on, once I put the Jeep back on the ground and tried to put them in, it seemed as if it just weren't the right one, which IRO also thought. They confirmed it was the right one but it still didn't line up no matter what I did. Does anyone have any tips on how to make it go on right?

Yes I am talking to IRO right now any they have not come across the issue, and are asking the other employees if they have seen or heard of the same problem.

Those springs look pretty thick. I suggest elongating the hole. Skyjackers by any chance?

What do you mean "heavy"?

OK, I should rephrase that. The wire size in the coil looks large. Stock is just a little over 1/2" Those look closer to 9/16" minimum from the photo. Afrermarket coils come in all configurations. Spring rate is determined by wire size, number of coils and coil diameter. There is quite a variety out there that will work by fudging any of those values.

So with a larger wire size, a retainer for a stock spring may not fit, just as yours does not.

Well i bought them under the impression that they were for heavier springs lol

They definitely look heavy duty themselves. But some springs just have some real thick steel in them. As I said, just elongate the hole in them. Lotsa stuff like that happens when you mod a Jeep

Yeah I just didn't want to have mod them considering that I do not have the means to drill them, thats why I bought them :-(

Just remembered that my manager works at our local Jeep shop. I'll have to ask him see if they can take a look at it and see if I did something wrong or if its just off a little. :sign0181:
