Just heard about this on the radio. Since we have a fair amount of Houston area members and know more about xj's than most it might just help.

While at a walmart in Houston a green 1996 cherokee was stolen, and had an 18 month old boy in it. Anyway ya never know, keep an eye out.

Here's the story

An Amber Alert for 18-month-old Evan Montgomery Miller has been canceled after Houston police report he has been "found." He is being taken in an ambulance to Texas Children's Hospital. Read more --> http://bit.ly/yn6eAI

Not really, they didn't get the Jeep back! :shocker:

true but they did get the child back alive. Usually that isn't the outcome. and once that 96's tps or cps messes up they will probably find the jeep on the side of the road.

I thought the kid was found IN the xj...

"It appears the child was left in his mother's stolen vehicle, which was left in an area that made it difficult to find at night"

I went to that link on FOX 26 News and it was just the story from yesterday. I assumed he was let out, as happens most of the time.

Ok... one of ya'll needs to call the news channel and find out.

"News 13, how may I help you?"
"Yes I am calling about the Amber Alert with the 18 month old"
"Yes sir, they found the kid safe"
"Yes ma'am I know, but was the Jeep safe?"

If it was not found, we may need to issue an Oxide Warning.

Here we go... same link that Tony put up. Look around the 38 second mark and you can see the green Jeep that the kid was taken in, and found in.

I'm glad the kid was found safe but .... What was the mother thinking ?? that is child endagerment !!! You do not leave a child or in this case children unattended in a car, not to mention a running one !!!
