OK, I see now. Yes you need a new yoke then. Not hard to replace if you have an impact wrench. If not, you will need a pipe wrench and a couple of cheater bars.

ok so i got it back together with new ujoint i dropped it down to back it out and BAM i hear a horrible sound (GREAT I THINK) ok so it wasnt as bad as i though it was i put it back up in the air and seen that the axle is now rubbing against the newly installed muffler ok fine that sucks but atleast it wasnt something bad like the gears or some thing i got the center console in it looks good and i now have cup holders i just found some 31s on craigslist hopefully the guy still has them as they are only 125 for all 4 with ok tread super swampers good shit its coming along i just need to get some springs for the front and i guess a shackle lift for the rear as funds are kinda tight right now ill do a cheap lift for now

yea its will definitely make life easier with her on board she came to me the other night saying i think (WE) need to get one of those bar things that sits on the bumper in front of the headlights hahaha i said a brush gaurd yes she said and one for the back to awesome although cost more then i paid for the truck but im down for it if she lets me get one

now on to some other issues i went out wheeling last night and now my heat has stopped working if i sent it on high it comes out like radiant heat but doesnt blow so im thinking the blower resistor or some thing like that what you guys think

4.3LXJ
01-16-2012, 10:24 AM
Yes, check that resistor. Does it work on high? If not check the fuse for it first.

T3k
01-16-2012, 10:56 AM
yea i just checked all the fuses again and sure enough the fuse for the blower wsa blown i dont know how i missed it last night but what ever it works so off to bigger projects like welding the floors and fixing the suspention

Something I might suggest if you are having trouble blowing fuses repeatedly, is a small circuit breaker to put in the fuse block. Jeep uses one anyway for power seats and locks etc. That way if it trips again, it will reset until you get that sorted out.

ok so it snowed like a mother yesterday and i was driving home form work in 4wd while driving down the highway about 25-30 mph there's a loud clunking noise coming from the right front wheel like its not engaging 4wd or something it sounds like a vacuum leak then a clunk but its only while driving straight and the faster i go the faster and louder the clunk gets. i was just seeing if you guys knew or had this problem before

You might check that front axle u joint. Also do you have a front Central Axle Disconnect on yours?
