hi my name is jake and i have a 2001 cherokee with a 3'' rough country lift and 31x10.50x15 dayton timberline M/Ts. I plan on upgrading to a 4.5'' lift and want to do front and rear bumpers. if anyone knows of any cheap bumpers that look good let me know. cool site by the way

The cheapest bumpers will be the one's you make yourself, next up would be a kit bumper that you just weld grind and paint. Then there are those you just buy put on and enjoy. I went the last route. I'm considering buying a welder and building bumpers for my wife's TJ. I think it would be really fun, assuming they come out and are fully functional.

There are also companies that make parts that you can start your bumper build from. Like the frame bumper tie in pieces.

It is like Tony said, the cheapest bumpers are built from scratch. I built some aluminum bumpers from scrap, so I have about $100 in both of them. But you can also get some builder pieces, such as frame tie ins and go from there. You will get what you pay for in bumpers for the most part.
