So I want to put 6 lights total on my roof rack, 4 on the front, and 2 on the back. What would be the best way to wire this all up. I want basically two switches, one for the front 4 lights, and one for the back 2 lights.

I already have looked up tutorials on how to get it through the roof, I don't need help with that, I just want to know the best way to wire them up. Thanks!

For my pillar lights I tapped into the fuse box (open spot the was on the ing side of the box) and installed the switch on the cigarette panel and then back up to the pillars. When I do the lights on the roof rack I will run the wires out the back by the hatch and use a flat 4 pin trailer harness to make it removable. Almost forgot everything is on a relay and 30 amp fuse for now

First rule of thumb is to figure out how much power those lights draw. Here is a formula for you

Watts/volts = Amps.

Multiply the number of lights times the number of amps for total draw. Then get back to us.

The lights are 55w so 55x6=330w

So 330 watts total

You will want to wire 2 lights per relay so really only 110 watts per circuit. Depending on how far you are running the power to the lights you will want 12 or 14 gauge wire. (a run of 15' can use 14 gauge, a run of 20' will need 12 gauge)

The wires to power the switch and from the switch to the relay can be smaller, as they do not require much power to trip the relay.

You will also want a 20 amp fuse in each circuit.
