I'm looking for a Cherokee to buy and I like this one. Don't have to much knowledge in Cherokees and I would appreciate any help before I purchase it.

Look at it and let me know please,

Well it looks clean. But everything from the dealer usually looks clean. Id check for rust on the bottom of the body. Also the price seems a bit steep, but thats based on prices they go for around here. It might be worth taking a look at it though especially if the rust isnt bad.

Thats a good looking jeep. The biggest problem with the 00-01 is that the head is prone to cracking. Price seems about average for a tote-the-note car lot.

It looks very nice, but it is really hard to say with those few photos.

Thanks guys, the rear bumper need minor work and the guy said there's a rear seal leaking a bit of oil. I really like it but I also think price is to much plus I would add the warranty which is 1200 more.

A leaking rear main seal is pretty common. Not that hard to fix either

I would def. take a look underneath it.. look for rust on the bottom of the floor, the "frame", as well as the rear spring mounts... As long as all those are looking good, I would take a look at everything else.. From what the pictures show, you have a very nice option right there.. I would def. try and haggle with him though about that price.. If nothing else see if you can talk him down on the price, and then make sure you throw in that you would like to purchase the warranty... which will then bring the money he makes back up to where it was or close to what he was looking for just the XJ..

I agree with this.

Being a 2000 would not stop me from driving it home. Cracking the 0331 head is NOT that common. May seem like it on the internet but not in the real world.
