hey guys its been awhile since ive posted here, but recently i traded my xj for an mj. ive always wanted a decent comanche, but have never been able to find one, or at least at a reasonable price. the only stipulation to this mj is it a 2wd. but it is a 4.0 5 speed, 89 model. i was wondering what i needed to do about the transmission? i know i need a front diff and a transfer case, but what transmission do i go with? mean while here are a few pics. oh btw those wheels are mickey thompson side biters they are for sale, or i would trade for a set of 03-06 rubicon wheels

Nice looking MJ. You will need the 4WD AX15, tcase, front and rear drive line and tcase linkage. It will all bolt in.

Ditto, I have acquired all the stuff to convert my MJ to 4WD but just got a chance to pick up a set of D44s out of a FSJ and may use them instead of the C8.25 and D30 I have.

There is a D44 or sale on this forum. The front would have to come out of an early Wagoneer. But a rear to match would be the ticket.

Make sure the axle has the passenger side front pumpkin.
