I guess this is where I introduce myself haha, I'm 21 live in Southwest Fl and I bought my XJ about 2 months ago.

Well anyways, I bought my 1996 Country XJ 4x4 off craigslist, 101,000 miles, decent condition, mechanically solid, minor body damage to the front bumper, and rear passenger door.

Then I painted the trim and fenders black, and also replaced the rear passenger door and got new 29" a/t tires.

Then I installed a 3 inch rough country lift kit, new coil springs, shocks and aals. I had a budget to fit into and I got the kit for $240 shipped.

I recently just bought some 31" Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires and they are on my jeep, just haven't had time to take pictures but I will tomorrow, and they'll be up here.

I have a couple things I want to get done before christmas, nothing major just a roof rack and a new bumper.

I eventually want to switch to dana 44, but that is a little further down the road.

Let me know what you guys think, and like I said the last pic has 29" tires, the tires I have on there now are 31s

Oh and I forgot to add that I only paid $1,000 for my jeep.

Thanks!!!

Yeah you'll have fun with this one. What's the short term, long term plans?

lol I must have skipped the middle of that last paragraph

Good looking xj. There is a write-up on here on how to build a roof rack without welding.

Yeah I don't want to get to extreme right now, but when I get my tax return I plan on doing the Dana 44.
