Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. I purchased a RE 3.5 kit and the instructions that came with it are somewhat limited to a inexperienced person like myself. Isn't there a link around to help walk me through it with a little more explaination?

And also my trac bar bolt (axle side) is super tight, it might be under bind in which position should the axle be when undoing it?, drooped or loaded? thanks

Here are the lift instruction for a Rough Country lift. They may help some. As for the track bar, dont think it would really matter on the postion too much. Course I figure ride height would put it with the least amount of binding.

Hi,

Regarding the track bar, you may reduce the pressure on the bolt (and that will help you put the new one back) by connecting a strap between the axle and the frame and stretch it till it will reduce the pressure.
be careful of where you connect the edges of the strap so it won't release out of a sudden.

Least amount of pressure will be at stock ride height. We were working on a write up for a front spacer/spring install, but I don't have the pics for this. Will have to inquire about the pics.

yup track bar can be left alone and is BEST to be left at ride height for installing new one so you can get your new one aligned back in with the axle positioned in place.
