Hi All,

The daily drive is a 2010 Jeep Cherokee SRT8.

My weekend fun machine is a 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Classic : )

Have done a couple of mods as below.

Stroked the engine to a 4.6L with Keith Black pistons etc. (AWESOME !!!) - THANK YOU Dr Dino, you are the man TNT !!!

Also including a 3.5" complete lift kit, new front coil springs, nitro shocks, new rear leaf springs, transfer case lowering kit, upper/lower control arms, adjustable track bar, tie rod, drag link, sway links, 4" steering pitman arm, steering stabilizer, K&N CAI, HIDS, KC Lights, Winch with synthetic rope, Beserk winch front bumper, BFG AT KO 32x11.5R15 tyres, slotted disk brakes, Edge Trail Jammer, red alloy 1.25 wheel spacers, Bushwacker fenders, hood louvres, hawk brake pads, Valley rooftop rack carrier, aftermarket tail lights, reverse camera n lcd, Rockford Fosgate shallow subwoofer enclosure / amp, Prothane Engine Motor Mounts, Flowmaster 44 exhaust, Flex-a-lite transmission cooler, Flowkooler water pump etc. etc.

Kinda broke now... ha !

She runs well and taking it easy in the dunes / off road cause the Stroker has only done 1300kms (2k miles) thus far.

Cant wait to let her rip !!! :wink:

Phase 2 = Electric Fan Conversion.... so much info out there - a little confusing...ha.

Cheers Steve. The SRT8 is a beast ! Accelerates like the space shuttle... extremely good handling & the interior trim is far superior than the newer Range Rovers etc. Installed a K&N CAI and a full cat back exhaust system from Mopar - total 460bhp (stock 420bhp). Best of both worlds, its a sports car and a 4x4 (great for a family man with a wild streak). But i love my XJ...

Best of both worlds, its a sports car and a 4x4 (great for a family man with a wild streak).

I'm a wild man with a family streak ;) so I own a muscle car (heavily modded '95 Mustang GT) and a 4x4 (Jeep). Ironically I get more speeding fines driving the Jeep so which one's really the muscle car?
