I do... family tradition to do it the day after Thanksgiving. Also one of the only days there is nothing to do, as far as work and kid's activities go. So it makes it easy to do lights and tree on that day.

I'm humbugging the tree. It is just us and no need for one. A few lights and stuff does it.

I was looking at this when we picked up our new tree... I thought it would have been different and awesome to have as a tree.. Wife didn't agree though.. I like it!!

That is what my wife and I have been doing every since like 6 years ago when our dog at the time ate our fake Christmas tree.. We were never really too big on doing the huge Christmas decorating anyways...

We put up our new tree that we picked up on black friday sale @ Lowes the other day.. And put out some decorations.. I plan on throwing some lights up on the outside of the house over my next two days off work (we'll see how well that plan works out)...

Our lights are not going up until after next Saturday. We are using them to decorate the Mighty Mite and run it in a Christmas parade.

Yeah I thought about decorating the XJ and running in a few parades with two of my "local" Jeep clubs... but since it is in the shop.... not sure if that will happen or not.. Not going to do too much to it as far as decorating.. but some minor stuff.. My power converter will only run so much anyways.. LOL

Mine will run a ton of lights. But not sure if that antique alternator will handle it. We will have to check that out first.

The reason I trashed the plastic monstrosity last year was the fact that it was made in China. I am buying a real tree to help an American business to survive. Most of our decorations are from the 80s so are made here. We are trying to have a Made in USA holiday to see if it can be done any longer.

Got ours up yesterday, seven feet of fraser fir. I always get a laugh out of strapping it on top of my spare, it just looks so weird.

we buy a small live tree then go plant it in the woods behind the RV after christmas . Usually don't get it till the 20th from the nursery. Oh yeah, and it sits outside the door on the porch, since there isn't enough room in the RV for us the two dogs and a tree.

You will have to post pictures up and let me know..I think that would be so awesome to see..and if you get it done..you will be my Hero.
