The link below is a local news story of an Xj involved in an accident. Read carefully, this would be tough to explain to the insurance company.

It was probably tougher to explain it to his wife.

I would def. blame the wife. but that is me.. she should have had a Jeep too.. then she wouldn't have had this issue.. LOL.. Yeah I would hate to have to explain that to the insurance company, that is for sure..

Wow he had to have to hit her hard.
I thought explaining to my father why his CJ was caved in on one side after my first time wheelin was difficult, and he was a AF Officer was bad and he didnt know I had gone to wheel......
You can tell the town is fairly small when the newspaper goes into that much detail on an accident....slow news day I guess

Honest honey! the sun blinded me and caused my right foot to slam to the floorboard. I didn't know what happened until I creamed the rear of your car, shoving you into that truck, but the jeep can be fixed fairly easily since I was wanting a new radiator and front bumper anyway, now would be the perfect time to get that done.:o

yeah considering how much damage WASN'T done to the jeep in a frontal impact... Id say that based on the couple frontals Ive had in cherokee's he barely hit her and she accelerated into the penske... well executed insurance fraud scheme! hopefully for them the adjuster isnt a XJ guy!

I love how they refer to the van as a Toyota, then put a large picture of the damaged HONDA van in the story. DUH!

But yeah, the damage to the rear of the van does NOT square with the damage to the front of the van, if it was actually pushed into the Penske truck by that Cherokee! Heck, didn't even break the van's rear window.

That is absolutely THE craziest thing I have heard...and it makes me wonder..why weren't they riding together to begin with..obviously they were going in the same direction.

Xj was tough, I passed it yesterday going down the road without a front bumper or grill. The van is still sitting at the shop where the Xj owner works, looks real bad.
