View Full Version : What's the biggest steak you've eaten?

I took the fam to Salt Grass yesterday. We haven't been in a long time. I was tempted to get the 24 oz porter house and I noticed they had added a 24 oz ribeye! I love ribeye's. I saw the $29.99 price so I went for the 16 oz ribeye.

I literally could have eaten two of those things! Now I have had a porter house and 1/2 of my wife's 13 oz ribeye before, but the biggest steak that I've ever had was that 24 oz porter house steak.

I'm sure I've had more at the house, but I never thought to weigh them!

So what's the most steak you've eaten, I guess at a restaurant. Weight given on the menu. Were you embarrassed or proud? :smiley-laughing021:

I ordered a 24oz once. I took enough home that my GF asked me why I didn't eat any. I told her that was half. I was quite proud of myself.

I cut the bone in half and gave it to the dogs. They loved me for a month.

I can't eat like I used to be able to. I ordered a 54 oz once, almost got it all gone with the trimmings which would have made the 55 dollar meal free. Now I do good to get through a 10 oz steak meal.

Oh I wish I had that problem, I mean as long as I was healthy with just less of an appetite! :D

Just wait till you sneak up on 60 Tony, It will happen. part of the getting old thing that just sucks. My eyes still think I can eat like I used to be able to.
