Everyone read! - DO NOT buy from Auto Computer Exchange!!!

A month ago (sept23) I ordered a computer for pops 98 xj. After a week of not having the money taken out of my account I call. They got my card number wrong and my phone number. Got the card number straight money taken out two weeks go by no computer. I call they haven't even shipped yet!!! So realizing they messed up they overnight it. It gets here sweet! Guess what the in is a BAD computer! Call them up they say my fault and then calls me stupid! Enough I told them I wanted my money back and they say I could get a cash refund instead of credit like normal and i put the computer in the mail. They get it last thursday and are refusing to refund me my money saying I lied about being told a cash refund(money back on my card). I asked to talk to the owner and still no call from them. They hung up on me everytime I call. The company is auto computer exchange in FL.

The phone number is 1 888 664 8787 or888 804 5500. Maybe some phone calls to them and some bad rep. around the internet will sway them to do right. Yes I've contacted my bank and they are willing to fight with me to get my money.

Before it ever shows up, my wife notices that not only did they charge our credit card for the agreed upon amount, they have also charged us another 420.00!!!

Those guys at Auto computer exchange are crooks and sell bad computers then give you the run around on exchange.

i bought a ecm from auto computer exchange, it was defective, i spoke with the owner (lou sr.) i explained to him that i had a friend repair my ecm, he said send my ecm back and he would refund my money.
i called them about my refund and was told that i would have to send them a copy of a receipt showing that i bought a replacement ecm, i explained that i spoke with lou sr. about my friend repairing my ecm (replaced the 3 capacitors) i was told that it was impossible to repair your own ecm and that they would not give me a refund.

I bought from them for my F~350 7.3............I had good results, sold it with thier computer still in place.......years later............just my dumb luck probably....... :thumbsup:

I doubt they'd be in business if they had a 100% fail rate. ;)
