As I was just happily posting on here, guess what is hovering just to the right of the computer screen?

I don't mind spiders, I even have a pet tarantula, but this one can hurt you.:eek::eek:

For the most part spiders don't bother me. Now this freaked me out when I found it.

It was dead when I found it. I had just finished mowing and weed eating, so I can only assume I hit it while mowing. I had mini 10 second freak out when I saw this till I realized it was dead.

We expect Black Widows outside here, you have to watch what you pick up. But this one decided to overwinter in the house. Not nice, we are not prepared for them in the house where we don't expect them.

I guess i'm a baby when it comes to spiders, can't stand em. Although i like them a lot better than scorpions. I've only seen one not in captivity, it was smaller and bright orange at a rest area.

Oh I have seen some amazingly evil looking spiders.. All over the world at that.. Have found a few in our house at the farm.. Def not something you want to find in the bedroom... That thing is def. A beast size wise..

don't get them bad critters in nz....we haven't got any bugs than can hurt ya...no snakes either...... scariest thing down here is the mother in-law..

Snakes I don't mind at all (but then I own a 6' python) not even the venomous ones (I am a snake wrangler for three city's animal control units). Spiders, no worries,UNLESS it happens to be; a. the black widow, b. the brown recluse. We have taken both varieties out of our RV home lately. of the two, I think I prefer handling the black widow, she doesn't jump on you and bite right away like the recluse will.
