I was planning on replacing the hazard switch on my jeep but after taking the steering off I saw what was behind it and thought to myself if I take that off I'm going to have a really hard time putting it back on specially without the right tools.

So my second thought was why not plum in a switch for my hazards elsewhere, like in this pretty hole where my FM transmitter switch used to be.

My last thought was "but I don't know how to that" so that's where my question comes in.
Does anyone here know how I would be able to add a separate switch so my hazards will work again?
By the way I do not know exactly what happened to the switch, one day I just turned them on and smoke came out of the steering column and stopped working. This is all they do now aside from blowing my fuse.
