Show em if you got em. Action pics are great. I've got an SCX-10 that I bought pretty much RTR. I had to add a receiver to the RC, and a transmitter, and I broke the steering servo along the way.

Before that I cut my teeth on a Traxxas Stampede, which was a great 2wd basher.

Hi,

I don't have one of my own, but in the Israeli forum that I'm member in, there was an article about those.
It's Hebrew, but there are really nice pictures.
Enjoy (http://www.jeepolog.com/forums/content.php?r=2259-%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%A7-%D7%A7%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%9C%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D-%D7%91%D7%A9%D7%9C%D7%98-%D7%A8%D7%97%D7%95%D7%A7).

I've got an Axial SCX 10 pretty much stock RTR with Cherokee body, homemade front winch bumper, rear tire carrier bumper, and lots of weights in the wheels.

For those unfamiliar with these things they're pretty close to real trucks. They have ladder frames and solid axles. You can set up the suspension various ways such as long arms or if you wanted to build an authentic XJ you can put leaf springs on the rear.

I got into it when i was pretty young, and still love it. Haven't done it in a while though. I have a slightly modified clodbuster, pretty modded rc10t3, fairly modded e-maxx, stock pajero, and stock losi mini something. They all have issues keeping me from running them right now. I have wanted a scale crawler with xj body for some time, but can't bring myself to spend the $. Plus then i would want a li-po battery and charger and mods and it keeps going. One day.

This place will make you want to spend a months $, the stuff they have looks amazing. You can spend hours looking.

I would love to eventually get into this. I've wanted to build a mini-Cherokee for quiet sometime now. I just can't find the courage to buy it, my wife already tolerates so much of me.

Sell it to her this way. Parts are cheaper when you break it. It's also a great way to get you fix without leaving your back yard. That's why I'm building a rock garden in the back yard.

^^ +1!! I have my crawler.. Just need to get a few more parts for it to get it up and running again.. and of course purchasing a XJ body for it, to make it even better..

I also have a Team Losi XXX-Spec buggy, which I have upgraded into being a stadium truck, as well as some other upgraded parts.. but need the same parts I need to get my crawler up and running...

Thinking about selling all of my current RC's and making a purchase of a newer RTR setup... and then build it up over time...

I found some pics of my Traxxas Stampede, and figured I'd share.

I looked at the Stampede's when I purchased my Losi buggy... I had a few MT's prior to that purchase.. and still love them I really wanted an E-maxx to build up.. but ended up purchasing my Team Losi buggy, and then a TL Rally Weapon and then my crawler.. all of which I need the same electronics to get up and running.. LOL.. Going to see if I can work out a trade with my father who purchased the Traxxas Summit that he purchased, and I'm sure hasn't used more than 10 times.. LOL.. best of both worlds between the MT and a crawler.. and it is ready to roll now.. not having to collect parts and pieces for it..

Hey XJ WHEELER, and anyone else that wants to take a gander.. I notice you have an E-maxx.. there is a site I found a few years back when I was looking to pick up an E-maxx.. they sell all kinds of motor upgrades and such for E-maxxs, as well as many other popular RC's... they even build a few custom setups frame wise.. I think I am actually going to pick up my needed items to get my crawler up and running from them.. I kept trying to remember what the site was called, then I remembered that I had it saved on my bookmarks on my saved HD from my old computer... so here you go for anyone interested.. Stampede was my first real RC since being a kid. It was a great little truck and I have some cool video on a sand volleyball court at my old apartment complex.

I just wanted something that I could play alittle harder with and go over rougher terrain.

Yeah they do have some pretty cool stuff.. I'm going to see if I can talk my dad into selling me his Summit... but I already know if he does.. I'll be picking up the motor upgrade from Kershaw for it.. and will sell the rest of my RC's... well minus my crawler..

I currently have a HPI savage that is in between a 4.6 and the flux. LOL. I am in the process of converting it over to a flux with some lipo and BL. I also have a HPI wheely king that I use for crawling. The chassis is flipped (puts the battery up front). Four wheel steering. Still has stock motor but I have a integy 55t motor for it when I decide to put it in. Also stretched about 1.5" and has some beadlock rims. Other than that, nothing special.
