I recently picked up a tactical light for my Glock 22. I just wanted a bright light no laser/tazer/grenade launcher, just a bright light.

Surprisingly Glock had a solution for about $85...

The Glock GTL-10

A bright light helps you clearly identify the person as a bad actor, or zombie. :D

Hey I know that's what I'm getting my Jeep ready for!

Top 10 things to do with your XJ:
3.) "pretend like your running from a zombie apocalypse"

And that last shot is awesome! I just had a flash back to golden eye on n64 Haha.

Oh I forgot to mention. There are two ways off looking at a light source on your weapon. It's great to see your target! It gives away your position.

99.9% of the time (how I'll be using it) I won't have to worry about the 2nd possibility.

I would pray so!

I've actually been looking around for one of my own recently. I've wanted the s+w....dang, brain fart I can't remember now...sigma series (had to look it up) because its relatively cheap. But the m+p looks pretty awesome.

My brother in-law got a M+P. He said it wasn't any different than his two glocks. I'm happy with my Glock 22 and 27. I could get rid of the other 2, but the 92FS is pretty and very easy to shoot.

It is nice idea, but on the other hand, it exposes your position....
I saw an infra red pointer once that goes inside the spring itself, so it doesn't make it bigger (but it doesn't light the target, just help you hit it...)
Saar.

They need a light that isn't visible to the naked eye but with glasses you can see it. :watermelon:

I have many lights from streamlight and surefire and though they are very bright they are not a good way to hide your whereabouts in a darkened room. Hit the object with wasp spray then while he is trying to see again you can get the drop on him and immobilize him.
Call 911 and tell them you have an intruder in cuffs and at gunpoint. No one dies and you are safe.

I like this wasp spray idea, however I've never seen or read anything about it actually being used. Personally I think it would just make a dangerous situation worse as the intruder tries to flee not fully understanding what happened and why they can't see. I think the immobilization part would wind up being the most difficult. I mean unless you shot them to immobilize them. That might be a hard thing to explain to the authorities though.

So he couldn't see because of the wasp spray and then you shot him?!?!?!

Maybe what you're suggesting is wasp spray alone and no gun as a backup.

I like the idea of no one dying, I don't like the idea of the chances of me dying increasing though.

I was a Deputy Sheriff in another life 30 years ago and still have a few pairs of cuffs.
