Well I'm going to get my BFG KM2 33x12.5x15 MTs installed today so you probably won't have time to vote and influence my decision, but I think it will still be interesting to see the majorities opinion.

Should I have them mounted raised white letter out or in?

I'm thinking in, but I'll have to wait until the last minute to decide. :out:

I like white letters out but after a while their not so white and if any rock rash or curb rash occurs that sometimes tears them up and then they look bad.
The ones I got were old and faded and the white wasnt as white as I like so I put them in, But brand new... I saw white OUT!(cuz i know you will always keep them clean! haha)

White out for sure! And if your worried about all the crap that builds up on them Walmart sells this killer stuff that will take it all off. Comes in a white spray bottle can't think of the name at the moment, but aside from severe rash it will take them to near new again

I've got mine in but then I'm a stealthy kind of guy and hate to bring attention to what I'm doing.

In

I would only put them out if the tire company paid me royalties (like a discount) to advertise their product.

But, I feel the same about any product. Want me to advertise, pay me. Yes, I will pay for a premium product, but do not expect free advertising from me.

i like the white letters out personally

however i agree that rock rash and such is going to make it look messed up so if that was the case id say in

seeing how this is going on a pretty RED rig no harm in that lol

I'm not a white letter in kind of person just because they usually end up looking crappy.

That being said, the used BFG's I put on my trailer got the letters out just because it looked cool.

Starting to cool off outside now, so it might be next Summer before I can tell. The plastic/Aluminum radiator has taken care of most of the heat creep issues.

It's funny you mentioned the hood yesterday (on the phone) because I have been thinking about getting another hood, having it painted to match the Jeep and doing away with the scoop. The scoop was just an attempt to fix the heat creep issue. I knew the dumba$$es out there would think it was a horse power statement, which of course it isn't.

I vote for having them out. But I used a Hot Tires paint pen on mine to make them red. Actually that reminds me I need to do some touch up work.

I did that same type of thing back in the 60s when red or orange letters were the rage for about five minutes. I had trouble at time if I scraped a curb. It all came off too easily.

Yes and they actually had colored "crayons" you could buy to color the letters to the color you wanted them. I think it was PepBoys that had the biggest selection. They still make the white ones for touch up.
