the sig. 2022.... I like sigs.... they are getting cheaper a bit now that they use polymers frames more

Those are nice pistols. The one I tried at the dealer's range had a fairly heavy (for me) trigger pull. I think Don said it was around 5 lbs. My pistols are all set at 1.5 lb. He did also say that I'd probably feel like I was lifting weights with my trigger finger before I started to shoot the clip full. I passed on the Sig only because I have two good Beretta's and a good backup gun already. That and the Wolf said "I'd rather you buy a pistol I can shoot" :D I'm thinking she will like a .380 for personal carry so I'll let her shoot my backup Beretta to see.

on some of the sigs, trigger pull is 10lbs for DA and then 4.4 for SA if I recall

My old PA has also a super heavy DA trigger pull but it is also meant to be an added safety.... so i am happy with that

I always say. It doesn't matter what I like. It matters what the shooter likes. I tend to rework any rifle, shotgun, pistol I buy to suit me. When Wolf decides what she wants, then she will get to decide what if any changes she wants to make. I don't put my finger on or over the trigger until I'm going to fire so, "hair" triggers are good for my style of shooting. and actually my 1.5 lb pull triggers aren't really what I would call "hair triggers".

I agree with that statement as well .... to each its own ;) lol
(and I do not put my finger on the trigger unless I am ready to shoot either ....)

this gun is for the wife, notice the pink hogue grips lol

yeah its a DA/SA handgun.

I really like this gun, being a .40, my wife shoots it fairly well, this is her first handgun.

The recoil is really controllable, and very balanced.

If Scotters ever finds this thread he can say how he likes it.

OH LOL ha ha ha this is funny I JUST now found this thread!
as for the pistols I really enjoy the sig for the ease of it however you CAN tell a difference between the two and I noticed that the XD is little more difficult to aim precise... I guess it is just way more accurate however I really was able to hit the target a higher percentage with the sig!
