Ok people my luck just keeps getting better & better :mad0029: so today i was picking up the Mrs. and i hit a bad bump and my passenger side bolts that go into the block for the engine mount busted off and now my engine is leaning to the right, my fan might be bent and the shroud is TOTALLY gone and the mount is lodged under the distributer keeping it from leaning even more and im not sure if that's a good thing im  it isn't more trouble, so now i need to pull the engine and see if i can get the sheered bolt stems out and i need help/guidance from the experienced community on what tool's i would use to get them out???????? So this is the list of the tool's i do have on hand
1.cherry picker
2.standard/metric hand tool's
3.some brains and a lot of man power

thing's i think i might need ?
1.the know how (jus a little would work)
2.some type of drill bit's
3.new bolt's/sizes (searching for)
4.a good drill
5.a helping hand or 2

I REALLY could use someone's help  any insight from experience would help A WHOLE LOT Thank You
OH and pics are coming soon

hi Jessie,,,,i have picks somewhere on when i did mine,,, ya don't have to drop motor, well i didn't.... don't panic dude, common problem, easy fix just a bit tight doing it:bang:

mine is a 95 rnd (green ) heap...

so mine did it on drivers side witch makes it your passenger side ,, still may be different...
i moved as much stuff as i could, ie battery, washer bottle,etc..
i unbolted both mounts so i could raise a engine a bit..
i used a drill similar to one of these...

http://www.tylertool.com/right-angle-drills/right-angle-drills,default,sc.html

i got a centre punch on one or two and started with a small drill piece,
when drilling keep drill bit centered, then went slightly bigger... i then used easy outs to get the bolt remains out..

there are after market mounts you can buy , someone will throw up a link.....

really is a easy fix ,, just knuckle skinning..:D

Jensen got some bomb proof mounts that use more bolts I think.

When I bought mine the PO had already broke the passenger side mount for me and never said a word. They jammed a 16 inch steel 1x1 rod into block and into frame to hold motor up but made the mount look like it was still attached to block.Gotta love Aholes. Yeah like Wayne said a Easy Out set is your best friend with this deal. Also if you have a right angle drill or can get one from someone you will relieve alot of stress on how to reach the broken bolts. Just make sure you line up the drill bit best way of center you can drill bout a 1/16th to almost a 1/8th into broke bolt then switch to Easy Out. Make sure you use Grade 8 bolts when putting new mount on if not you get the fun of possibly doin it all over again sooner then you think...lol. If the after market mounts are a lil pricey for ya auto parts stores carry the oem mounts also, you can also get the Grade 8's there. Took me about 1 hour to fix mine once I figured out what was holdin engine up and how to get it out :D. Hope this helps ya.

yeah that bolt is replaceable... there are three bolts that go into your engine that hold the mount to the engine... basically you have a two piece motor mount... theres this which is the actual mount...

then theres this which is the engine bracket...
(the black one that actually bolts to the motor)

this bolt breaks off in your motor your screwed but the LONG one that broke on yours is the first one...and that one is easy to replace and VERY cheap like 12$ or so

here is what it looks like, the bottom 2 are almost flat with the block one dimples in and the other kinda has a edge in the center but i don't think it had a third at the top the hole looks rusty so that might of helped with this situation

ok looking at that last pic i was wrong it was that bracket that broke off and as far as motor mounts i was looking at the brown dog one's and some other company that has the same idea with more bolts but to get those it's going to be a week or 2 before i can order a pair.

Yeah I would look at either the browndog mounts, or the ones from Ironman Andy on here.. I have heard great things about both companies units... I know browndog does have a setup that you can get from them that has more than the normal amount of bolts holding it on..

I would use a cobalt drill bit, at low speed.

I noticed that in your list of this past weekend's carnage you didn't mention broken motor mount, lol.

I forgot to mention there is a torque spec for the bolts over tighten and they are prone to break
