Me and the missus are devout XJ lovers.

Me with my lifted 94 Sport and her with her lifted 91 Laredo.

Well that WAS until recently, after a bad connecting rod issue and replacement of the entire 91, and the 6mo of work that followed: we no longer have TWO XJ's.

Her 91 Laredo has been replaced.
With a 99 WJ

Found this little beauty on craigslist for $2000.
Needed a radiator.

The rundown:
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
4.7L V8 with 188,000 mi
FULLY loaded
Leather interior
Heated power seats
AM/FM/Cass/10 CD Changer (Infinity Gold System w/ amp)
Factory sunroof
and tons of other "stuff"

So far what has been done:
NEW radiator
NEW fan clutch
Oil change w/filter
NEW Oil pressure sensor
NEW hood lifts
NEW glass hatch lifts
(2) NEW taillight housings w/ sockets
NEW front rotors and pads
NEW Skyjacker Hydro7000 rear shocks
(2) NEW rear tires (fronts coming this week)
NEW pass. side headlight assembly

TO DO:
ADDCO 1" rear swaybar
Front shocks
Front CV axle boot (d.s.)

Not a bad deal. Rides sweet. :driving: Has enough power for HER.

And to top it all off. We put her 91 Laredo out front for sale and 1 week later, sold it for $1200!!! Thusly, making the new one cost $800
Here's the last pic taken of her old 91 (sitting next to its replacement, of course)

Ok. Appears I haven't shown my ugly mug :morningcoffee: around here for a little while.

I thought I would give you guys/gals an update, since I have been spending all my time over at jeepforums WJ board.

I been doing some upgrades to her 99 GC Limited.

Added:

3" IRO lift
Nitro shocks
Full set of Destination A/T's
ADDCO rear swaybar
Hunter Texas classic bull bar
Top line Sony Xplod CD player utilizing factory Infinity Gold amp
Diamond-plate door sills

plus tons of little repairs.

Currently designing a slimline roof mounted light bar.
Looking into replacing the NV247 with a NP242 and ditching the vari-lok axles with a set of standard axles

Here's a current pic

I ordered a pair of FMD MiniMax BullBar Mounts to shift the bar up where it belongs, the road-scraper brackets (just above puddle) are cheaply made and aren't sturdy at all
