A guy at work wants to trade me his 2007 Chevy Cobalt for my 1999 XJ and will add $3k. Logic says sell the Chevy and buy a pre 1996 to avoid emissions testing. Or keep the Chevy and sell the 1995 Civic and buy another XJ. But I would have to take over his payments and the XJ is almost payed off. This is a tough choice.

If it were me I'd keep the paid for civic and then pay off the Jeep. 95 civic is still probably more dependable than a 07 cobalt

I believe the 1999 XJ was the best one they built. You know the issues "if any" you have with the 99. I have two XJ's now so I'm probably a bad one to give you advise. :out: :driving:

Civic is a project car and not quite trustworthy yet (suspension is a mess) XJ is almost payed off 133k on the clock. And to top it off another guy at work offered me what I have into the Civic 2 weeks ago. And we get a $5k settlement at work from a union grevence at the end of August. So I figure Id end up with an older XJ and a different sport compact. Oh and the 99 has issues but future upgrades will fix them all, lol
