my dad just bought me a oil relocation kit made by trans dapt. im going to be using a trans cooler for the oil cooler. my ? is how do i mount the relocation kit to the oil cooler ?

That one is made to strap to the front of the radiator itself with the zip ties provided.

I have that same cooler but use it for the tranny. I got it second hand with no thru Rad zip ties. So I just zip tied it to the grill.

i put one on my dads zj. my ? is how do go from 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch. from the oil relocater to the cooler. oh and i also plan on using another one replace my beat up trans cooler

or do i tightin down the hose clamp a little more and hope it dont leak?

You could use a 1/2" to 3/8" hose barb in the rubber line before you get to the cooler

Be careful with those thru the radiator zip ties. I used them once. 2 of the 4 zip ties caused leaks in my radiator.
I never used those through the radiator zip tie mounting systems again. I always made a mount, usually adapted one I could find at the junk yard.

Just my experience. Just saying.

i onjy mount mine to the ac condencer.
