I've got my eye on a almost mint condition '94 Sport with a $1400 price tag. Doesn't seam cheap, but normal prices for a Cherokee is around $5,000.

I'm sure you know about it, but just in case, be sure and check the Kelly blue book online before you buy! 99 to 01 go for $5900 around here, if excellent condition and by a reseller.

The blue book value for the condition it's in is $2200. I'd love to have a 97 - 99, but the cheapest one I've seen has a $4500 price tag, and that's way out of my savings range.

:welcome: to xjtalk!! Nothing wrong with having a price range that you are looking at purchasing an XJ inside.. I limited myself too.. but was dead set on picking up a 97+ XJ.. There are lots of great folks on here, and lots of great information to be found..
