Hi Folks.
On Aug 25 we will be camping at Big Bend camp ground for three nights and four days of wheeling in the Fordyce Creek area. There are lots of trails for all types of rigs and we will spend some time on Fordyce Creek also. You are all invited to come. However, camping spots are at a premium. So we will be making reservations tomorrow as that will be a popular weekend, not as popular as the official Sierra Trek or Labor Day weekend, but busy anyway. We are hoping all the snow will be melted by then, since it is not now. We will visit some rare plants, and get a chance to perhaps stand on a floating island and see some Indian Petroglyphs, the only known on flat ground instead of a wall. On the way back, time permitting we will visit a real live Ghost Town left over from the Gold Rush. There is something for everyone on this trip. HUM WEE will possibly be with us too. But if you want to camp with us you need to make reservations in advance. Don't wait or blow it off.
