1 - Plan on switching out my exhaust system, to include the Cat. Thinking of installing Flowmaster 44 or 40. Have been soaking the old C-Clamps with penetrating oil for the past couple of days (hopefully this will ease their removal). Any suggestions on a Cat to match that Flowmaster, and any install tips?

2 - Want the switch out the front/rear differential fluids and start using Royal Purple. It appears to be a simple job, but that never being case, any tips would be appreciated.

Any high flow cat should work.

For the diffs, if you don't have an evacuation pump, your best bet will be to pull off the covers and replace the gasket, then fill the diffs with a hose/funnel.

Honestly we have found no signifcance in a high flow cat in fact the last one we ordered was a standard number just in a different box. We can no longer get High Flows here in Cal. but as I said in my opinion they are all the same. As for the diffs.I would drop the covers inspect the internals then re glue and re fill

Thanks all. Will check out a few more cats and just thought about replacing the O2 sensor. Think it might be best to pull the diff covers off, just to take a peek inside and get some of the gunk out before going synthetic.

I got one from Summit that had the O2 bung on it for $100(?)

Sweet Mudderoy, I see those are welded, any advantages over direct fit?

I took it to a muffler shop and they welded it in. I've always had welded. Frankly I like the idea of it being welded in case I hit something with it. :rolleye0012:

Makes sense, looking at the Summit site now, thanks again for a look under your rig.

I went with the magnaflo high flow cat with my flow master 40 series and I had my muffler shop use 2.50" from the header to the tip exiting out back under my bumper sounds killer to so killer I can't keep my size 14 outa the throttle body I love the sound when it reaches 3500 to 3900 rpm then shifts.
