We use Crown Automotive for OEM style parts and have had great luck with them. They have a pretty good selection of body, electrical and mechanical parts. You can visit thier web site but they do not sell to the general public. We are a dealer however so I would be happy to help you out with any needs you may have

I'm trying to find the screws for the door lock, the piece that latches to the piece on the door jam. It's held in by 3 screws. 2 of those screws are missing on the passenger door of the 99. I can just get them from Lowes, Home Depot but I'd prefer to have the Jeep ones.

Also I noticed the rubber/plastic oval body plug under the back seat is missing. I don't know if these are a set or sold individually.

I don't need, but I wouldn't mind having the metal tube (water pump bypass) tube that is a Jeep only part (from what I understand).

These seem to be pretty OEM specific to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

Tony, the screws and such can be had at a good fastener specialist. I visit them often. They have all sorts of cool stuff like those nylon inserts that the grill screws go into for instance as well as lots of screws you never heard of. They are a great source for stuff like this. Fastenal is a large chain that I know of. Also there will be local one owner stores that will have more than them. The local Fastanal store refers to our local yokel store staffed by crazy ladies regularly. All the hot rod resto guys go there.

Yeah there's one in Katy, but for 3 screws, well I'd just like to have a good OEM parts source. Team Cherokee has the screws for $6 but they have them listed for 86 - 91 not the 97 - 01.

So if anyone has a good ONLINE source for OEM parts please let me know.

Just so there isn't any confusion, I'm serious about "maybe I'm wrong". I'd love to find a good non-OEM source for these parts. So if someone knows of an online source please let me know. I just work on this stuff because I can't afford to have someone else do it. I'm no expert. :nuke:

Although, I'm always looking for a good source, I find myself going back to the junkyard just to pick up stuff that although i do not need at the moment, it's too good to pass up. Example: I got a rr taillight lens for $10.00. New one they want $72.00 for.Front door check-New one $52.00- $5.00 at the junkyard. I will look for some of the parts mentioned here on my next trip to the junkyard. I always pick up screws and bolts laying on the floors.
