I was having a conversation in chatbox this morning with OrangeXJ. He was asking how I polish my alloy wheels. I told him I've only done it once and that was due to some over spray of tire bleach I was using. It caused spots on the surface of my wheels.
Now I know many of you "hard core" wheelers don't use alloy wheels, but for those of you that do have them this might be handy, or you might have a few suggestions on what you've done.

Now I remember using a spray that cleaned the surface of the aluminum wheel almost by itself. It had a chemical smell and you could actually see smoke coming off the surface of the metal!
You might want to try this on a small surface of your alloy wheel, back side, and confirm that you will get the results you are looking for.
I mean if you have alloy wheels there's no sin in having them look nice!
