just got a couple of these in the mail

ya they arn't too bad. I just changed mine, got a socket and a hammer and in about ten minutes I was done.

Hi,
One tip, do not use hydraulic press to remove/insert the u-joint.
You may ruin the axle shaft by doing so - I ruined mine that way :-(

That is the right way to do it.
I tried to do it with a press.... had to replace the axle shaft after that....

Just make sure the joint moves freely when done. Sometimes they can be too tight. If so, whack the ears a little with a hammer to move them out a little and you will be OK

I have done alot and in the states we have better hammers that hit harder so one hit eaquals to about ten of your shakes.....:D:D:D
