THE YELLOW LIGHT

The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.
As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.
He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.
After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, ''I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car.''
Priceless.

Do as I say....
it is just normal... driving does not count, Jesus didn;t have a car at the time we will never know what he would have done in that situation ;)
The story doesn;t say if it is on a Sunday.... maybe she was late to Sunday School and this silly stop made her miss her appointment with her other fellow christians to go sack an abortion clinic therefore save a life...

I really have to take exception to your comments, at first I was just going to groan and walk away from it but then I thought about it and Its good you made those comments so I can reply. First off let me say that the WWJD is a thought provoking question not based on actual times but on the man himself. Jesus was a kind and loving person who very rarely was angered , however there were those times also. This is a man who healed the blind, lame and terminally ill, raised the dead and then was persecuted and crucified and died for our sins. His last words were asking his Father in Heaven to forgive those who crucified him . I find it hard to believe that this man would flip out ,yell cuss and scream because he missed a traffic light.
Next maybe she was a Sunday School teacher and was late, this does not excuse her behavior. The good part is as Christian we know were not perfect but we also know we are forgiving'
Lastly to be a Christian is to be Christ like. We don't go and "sack" abortion clinics and you comment could be construed as Christian bashing. We teach abstinence and try to put forth options for those who have become pregnant.I personally believe in certain cases abortion is OK and necessary. But there are many options out there rather than abortion. I myself am adopted and so are my brother and sister. In a time where 1 in 3 teenage girls become pregnant before 18 don't you think education and abstinence is needed?

Lets all remember this is a JOKE section and every thread should be a joke not a thought provoking address on today's morality.
