Army is good, we are at the last stages before deployment, got alot of stuff to get done and a week and a half to do it.

Our son Karl was supposed to go there too, but now we are not so sure. He graduated from EOD, signed up to go and somehow that has changed. Not sure how that can happen, but it is what it is. You are going as a mechanic/fabricator right?

no fabricator, I was a mechanic when I was a civilian. now just welder, and I play dumb with mechanics so i dont get screwed, I got my ac training and ase's so I dont want them finding out about that

I hear it's a dry heat.
dry heat feels better, but its more dangerous, 120 can feel like 85-90 degrees and you can get heat stroke because it sneaks up on you. in humidity you can see it coming
