i have a 99 cherokee and im putting a 4 1/2 inch lift on her. Can i keep the stock rims (off a 98 grand cherokee, 5 spokes) and still get a 33 x 10.5 x 15 tire? Or should i upgrade to a 15 x 8 wheel to accomidate the 33's? Need to know asap! Thanks!!

Yes, you can keep them. A stock 7" rim works well with a 10.50 tire

I'm running 10.50's on stock rims with no major issues. One thing though, the sidewall on the inside of the tire will be really close to the leaf spring. So if you ever go wider than 10.50 you'll need offset rims.

If the rims are 15x7 they are just fine witht the 10.50 width, I have 33x12.50 and on the 15x7 rims i have about 1/8th of in inch clearance in the rear between the leafs

The biggest issue is sidewall pooch. Rims are usually recomended to be no more than 2" narrower than the tread width to keep the sidewall from being flexed to much (pooch). You can go up to about 4" wider in tire tread than the rim width, but your going to have fat looking sidewalls that will tend to rub before a wider rim with same tire would.
