i was looking at the front sway bar on my 99 and was thinking on taking some 2x4 square tube i have and making some mounts for it so i can get a some more flex out of the front cause i cant seem to find any quick release links for a 3 inch lift and i am tight for money has anyone done this be4

I know JKS makes disconnects that will work with your lift. You might even find a used set.

I had a sway bar drop on mine before I took it off. No negative effects that I could tell.

I disagree. You need the sway bar if you drive on highways. One quick swerve and it would be all over

I don't run any sway bars on mine. I also typically only have mine on 2 lane roads for a few miles at a time to get to the offroad park haha.

Yeah I put mine back on after lift install. For now I will leave it on til I get disco's myself but if I was you I would leave it on if you do alot of highway travel.

I don't run sway bars, but my springs are pretty stiff, not alot of body roll
