so i let my jeep sit for a little bit. replaced the spark plug cables distributor and rotor and now she wont start. i reconnected the battery lights came on in the cab. put the key in then turned the ignition and all the power in the car died. no sign of an attempt to turn over. any suggestions?

Charge the battery you may have enough to light the interior light and not enough to start the rig. It takes a minum of 9volts for ten seconds to start a vehicle

Sounds like a bad connection on your battery cables.

ok so i just disconnected, reconnected and this time is sounded like a ton of loud bad clicks, then my doors started locking and unlocking on their own. i think maybe its cuz i had a battery charger hooked up?

It should start running better after driving for a bit, after the ECM resets itself

like if i dont take my foot off the gas itll stall in park.
should i just keep my foot down slightly and put it in reverse back it down the driveway and drive it around the block a few times?

Yep, that should clear things up.

Yup once the battery dies the ecm has to re learn everything, be sure to drive it before you have to depend on it just in case it takes a little longer to learn driving ,shifting patterns
